Move your head down and back to centre
- Gently move your head and down, so your chin moves towards your neck.
- Then gently bring your head back to the centre.
- Repeat several times.
Always move slowly and within a comfortable range.
This stretches the upper trapezius and many other muscles at the back of your neck. These muscles often have to work very hard for long periods of time when you are facing the computer. The idea of this exercise is to stimulate circulation to the muscle and gently stretch it out, therefore reducing tension.
