Clench and relax your fists
Choose an area of your body. It could be your thigh or your calf. A great one to try is making a fist.
- Gently contract the area of muscle.
- As long as you feel comfortable, you can gradually increase the force for a count of 3.
- Then gradually reduce the force and slowly relax for a count of 6-10.
Contracting muscles boosts circulation. It is also excellent for relaxing tense muscles.
Following contraction and relaxation of muscles, you may notice that the muscle feels more relaxed.
